Event in December!

Hi,there! It's Yuka!:)
It's so cold but nice weather today!

It's almost the end of the year and I can watch some TV shows which are usually on air around this time.

In this month,about 10 people will move in our share houses and people living in the houses will feel fresh air.Welcome to Borderless-tokyo share house!!

Last year,we had two events in December,one was Borderless Festival and the other was Christmas party

About 100 people came to the Borderless Festival and had fun together!
What we done was singing,dancing,eating,and playing games

It was like a school festival but it was for people who wanted to communicate with Japanese and foreigners and the most important thing was to connect current residents in Borderless-tokyo share houses and ex-residents.
One of Borderless-tokyo's concept is to make friends and have fun in Tokyo.Especially for foreigners,it will be difficult to meke Japanese friends if he goes to a language school and lives in an accomodation without Japanese.But in our share house,you can know the Japanese culture and make Japanese friends and you can even improve your Japanese

These photos reminds me of the time we had so much fun at the festival and I met so many people and now some of them are good friends.
It was a good memory and soon I hope we can have the festival again!

Also Christmas is coming soon and we will have a party next week!:)
It's only for the current residents and ex-residents but I'm really looking forward to it!!

明日は12月！！

こんにちは！Elyです！！
明日で、12月ですね！
国際交流協会ボーダレス東京では12月のイベントとしてクリスマスパーティーを企画しています。
今回は武蔵関シェアハウスのコモンルームをお借りして開くことになりました！
住民と卒業生限定のイベントです！
みんな500円程度のプレゼントを持ってきてね！！＾−＾
またプレゼント交換するよ〜！！

この前に新中野シェアハウスに行ったら、もうクリスマスツリーが飾ってありました！！
そして、掲示板には長年住んでいたヘンリーからのメッセージが書いてありました！


ヘンリーは思いやりがあり、ボランティア精神の強い優しい人で、新中野ハウスのママとも呼ばれていました。（男の子なのに！ｗ）
ヘンリーは建築の仕事をしていたのですが、カナダに帰って自分の事務所を開くそうです！
人のために、地球のためになる建物をこれからも作ってくださいね！！

Say hello,say good bye

Hi,there! It's Yuka!
It's almost the end of the year and now I can see some beautiful Christmas illumination around Tokyo.



In this month,some people moved out and started their new life in a new house.

On their last day in our share house,some of them gave me a message saying
Thank you for everything during the stay and see you soon!
It was so nice for me and some people wrote warm messages on Facebook,too.
When I see it,I feel happy and it encourages me on work.:)

Our share house is old and not so cheap(but avarage or could be cheaper,it depends on how you think.)but people living there are nice and it's easy to make friends if you talk to them since they are friendly and like having fun together.

There are some options you think when you decide where you stay.In my case,
I chose the atomosphere and comfor to live in a house.

I moved in Itabashi share house about a year and a few months ago and now I'm living in Musashiseki share house.
The pictures taken last year remind me the time in Itabashi share house and sometimes I send message to my old share mates.

For a year,you can meet so many people if you try but how many people can say he/she is my good friend?
In our share house,you can meet people and you can have good friends and have a good time with them.

Especially if you are foreigner in Japan,it would be a great oppotunity to know Japanese and the culture.

In this week,we will have a Sports day and you can play basketball,volleyball and more! There is no border during playing sports! Anyone can join it in this time,why don't you come to join us?

忙しい！

ダンディです！

ご無沙汰しております。
気がついたらもうすぐ12月ですね！
もう少ししたら今年ももう終わりです。
ほんと、あっという間ですね。

今年はボーダレスの仕事、議員の仕事、そして
日本ゲストハウス連盟の仕事と3つの仕事を同時
に行っていて正直、忙しい！
おそらく今までの人生で一番忙しいのではなかろうか？

ボーダレスの仕事では今まで取り組んでこなかった
新しいことにチャレンジしはじめております。
それが実を結ぶかどうかはまだ分かりませんが、
世の中常に流動していることを考えると
同じことをしていていつまでもそのやり方が
通用するわけがない！
というのが私の持論なんで
失敗することを覚悟でチャレンジしています。
内容はちょっと公開できませんが、うまくいけば
よりボーダレスの入居者にとってはプラスになる
はずです。



一方、議員の仕事は今年から始まりましたが
この仕事はとにかく色んな人に会う機会が多すぎ。
また、会う人によって当然内容も違ってくるので
一つこなすと、どっと疲れが出ます。
まあ、顔を売ることが仕事の一つでもあるので
仕方がないといえば仕方がないわけですが、
一から勉強してると思って日々奮闘しています。
（でも、本当に様々な年代の人に会うので
面白い経験を積んでいるなあ、とは思います。）


そして、今月末に日本ゲストハウス連盟主宰のイベント
が開催されるので、実行委員としてこちらも色々と
忙しくなってきています。
今回のイベントはゲストハウス運営業者や
投資家を対象に行うイベントで、参加希望者が
気がついたら結構集まっている！
（現段階でもう60名ぐらいは来るんじゃないだろうか？）
最近本当に沢山の業者がこの業界に参入してきているが、
横のつながりがなかったり、相談するにしても
シェアハウスポータルサイト運営業者ぐらいだったり
と苦戦しているところが多いと聞く。
ダンディのところのように古株でそれなりの
経験値があるところも含めて業者で一つの団体を
形成することが今こそ求められている時代に突入
してきたのかな？という気がする今日この頃。


そんなこんなでとにかく肩がコルようになってしまった
最近のダンディです。
1年ぐらい前まではそれほど肩こりはなかったし、
気にもしてなかったんだけど、今は本当に
整体院に通わないと生きていけないとまで思える。

もう年だなあ。

別れと出会いの時期

こんにちは！！
シェアハウス国際交流協会　ボーダレス東京のスタッフelyです！

もう１１月ですね。
２０１１年も終わり、２０１２年の新しい年を向かうことになります。
この時期はやはり新たなスタートを準備する人が多くて
シェアハウス・ゲストハウスにもいろんな変化があります。

海外に行く人もいるし、結婚をする人もいるし、
独立をして一人暮らしを始める人もいます。

私が住んでいる稲荷台ハウスのシェアメイトあつこも１２日に引っ越すことになりました。
本当は１年だけ住むつもりだったのに私を含め、稲荷台ハウスで一緒にシェアしていた
うんきょん、もっくん、マキシムとの生活が楽しすぎて（もちろん回りのハウスの友達もいます！）
２年近く住むことになったそうです。　＾−＾

あつこと私は歳も一緒なので家にいると姉妹のような友達だった気がします。
去年のクリスマスの時は稲荷台のみんなと近所大和町ハウスの友達を呼んで
手作り料理とケーキを作ってみんなでお祝いしました。

思い出したら自然と笑顔になれる思い出です。
そんな素敵な思い出を作ってくれた大事な大事なあつこ。
これからもどんどん良いことが舞い降りてくるように祈っています。
いままで本当にありがとう！！

さて！別れがあれば当然！新しい出会いもあります。
稲荷台シェアハウスはまた新たな風が吹くでしょう！！

Halloween Party!

Hi,it's Yuka!
It was warm and comfy in Tokyo a couple days ago but now it's getting cold!!


Since I'm from north part of Japan(Yamagata),I don't feel so cold even my friends say it's cold.Now I feel cold though.

It's Autum which is good time to visit Japan because you can see beautiful
red leaves and have delicious food like a persimmon(Kaki in Japanese),
a saury(Sanma),pumpkin.

A couple weeks ago,we had a Halloween party in a Dandy and Okan's house and
about 30 people joined it!

Some people had helped to prepare food before the party started.

Some children including Dandy and Okan's children came to the house and saying 'Trick or treat?' but they screamed when they saw the scary guys!



It was good time and had fun a lot.
Next year,I'll be sure to wear the coolest costume next year

We will have a Sports day on the Nov 27th,looking foreard to it!

BBQ party

Hi,it's Yuka here!
It's getting cold these days though it's a beautiful sunny day today!
It was raining and so cold yesterday.
I think raining is for a beautiful rainbow and day after that.→

A week or so ago,we had a BBQ party in Koganei park.
It was also a nice and warm day!
About 50 people joined it and had fun together!!



When I think about BBQ,I like eating a sausage on a slice of bread with tomato sauce but I also like Japanese style BBQ which is meat and rice!(sometimes people make rice ball to have BBQ and there are lots of veges with meat.Healthy!!)
Okan cooked lots of yummy food! Oishi-!!





There were some new comers in Borderless-tokyo shared house and some of the ex-residents.You can always have fun and make friends in our share house if you like to see and talk with people!







We also played some games and playing a skipping rope and frisbee.
This was the another fun thing that walking on a rope between the trees.
If you have a good balance,you can make it!!





Who was the fastest one who could pass a rubber band to the next by using a straw??



We played 'Jan ken pon' which is the word we use when we play rock-sccisors-paper in Japan.


Everyone got so excited when a Borderless-tokyo T-shirts came out as a gift for a winner of the game since it'S seldom you can get.



After the party,I went home with my sharemates and they said they enjoyed it a lot and it made me happy.:)

We will have a Halloween party on the 29th of October and it's gonna be fun,too!
Can't wait to see how everyone will make up with their costumes!

ダンディです！

ダンディです！

超久しぶりの書き込みです！
2ヵ月半ぶりぐらいかな。

本当は色々と書き込みたいのですが、
政治家になったことで沢山の人の目があったりと
以前のように過激なことが書けない！
あいつむかつく、とか、あの業者はダメだ、とか
書きづらい。非常に残念だ。

また、議員になってもう5ヶ月だが、色々と
考えさせられることが多い。



今までの政治家は市議会議員であれ、都議会議員、
国会議員であれ、基本は自分の支援者のために
いかに予算という金を引っ張ってくるか、が仕事の
中心だったと思われる。

予算（補助金）を持ってきて、それが支援者に評価され、
次の選挙の票に繋がる。

これが政治活動のメインだったはずだし、
非常に残念なことに今でも
それがメインな議員がほとんどだ。



そして、日本経済が右肩あがりで税収が年々増加していく
限りにおいてそれでもOKだったと思われる。


しかし、時代は変わって日本は長い長い低迷期に突入。
そしてこれはそう簡単には変わることがない。
なぜなら少子高齢化が原因で日本は人口減少が進んでいるから、
胃袋の数が減ればそれだけ消費が減るわけです。
だから日本国内での企業の売り上げアップはつねに厳しい状況が
当面続く。



（地球規模で考えれば、人口減なんてほんの一握りでほとんどが
人口増なわけだから本当は良いことなはずでもあるのですが、
税収という意味においてはダメ）


だから出生率が２．０を越えない限り、いつまでたっても
日本の人口は減り続けるし、そうなると企業も国内での
活動を減らし、海外にシフトを移すからますます税収は減る。


税収が減るということは市民サービスのレベルも
当然下がらないといけないわけだけど、
残念ながらそうなっていない。


それは政治家に責任があるとしかいえない。
今の政治家は昔とは役割が違わないといけない
はずだ。


つまり、今まで色々と作ってきた行政サービスを
どんどんカットして身の丈にあったサービスに
変えていくことが今の政治家の
主な仕事にならなければいけないはずなんだけど、
誰もそんなことをしない。


なぜしないかというと、
サービスのカットを指摘した場合、
そのサービスに従事している人たちから見たら
とんでもないわけで、そんなことをしようものなら
次の選挙などでどんな悪影響があるか分かった
もんじゃない。
だから発言しない。


でも、財政が厳しいのはどの政治家も知ってるわけで
では政治家はどう対処しているかというと、市で言えば
市長に
｢この貧乏な街をどう改革していくのか？｣
と攻め立てて、
市長に特定の団体のカットを明言させ、市長を
悪人に仕立て上げるということをやっている。


そして市長にサービスカットを明言させた後、
自分の支援者にはあいも変わらず補助金をよこせと
言っている。


一方、悪人にしたてあげられる市長だって
サービスカットをしたら次の選挙に影響が
でるので本気でサービスカットなんてやりたがらない。


そうこうしているうちに槍玉にあげられた団体が
一部の新しい票田が欲しい政治家
と一緒に反対運動を起こして、マスコミも巻き込み
サービスカット阻止を試みる。


こんなことが日本全国いたるところで
おこなわれているわけだ。


古いしきたりをぶっ壊すべく
ダンディは特定の団体をあえて口にだし、
こんなことに予算はいらん！って訴えたら
速攻で他の政党の議員達から


｢ダンディはとんでもねえやつだ！｣


って一斉にたたかれた。


結果、
カットをしようとする議員がほとんどいないから
必要ないところにはずーーーーーーっとお金が流れ続け、
将来を考えると本当に必要なところには
お金がないから流れないという悪循環に今の日本は
陥っている。



だから国の借金が１０００兆円ぐらいに
膨れ上がっている。



ダンディは覚悟を決めて
特定団体を声を上げてカットしていくことが
今回の使命なんだろうな、と考えています。
これをすることでツイッターでも議会でも
ボロカスに言われて辛い部分がありますが、
ぜってーまけねーーー！！！


で、これを解決していくためにはやっぱり
今まで選挙にいかなかった若い人たちには
選挙に行ってもらって投票率をあげないといけない。


今までの選挙は投票率が５０％ぐらいかそれ以下。
しかも行く人は年配者ばかり。
これはなにを意味するかといえば、
一部特定の団体の代表を選挙のたびに選び出し、
その人を通じてその団体に新しい補助金なり、
利益を誘導させていて、それが長い間ずーーーっと
続いてきている。


そこで選ばれてくる人は正直、その団体の代表であって
市民、国民の代表ではない。
だから国や市がどんなに貧しくてもその団体さえよければ
問題ないというスタンスになってしまっている。


ここに最大の問題がある。


だからそれを打破するためには
若い人の力が必要なのだ。


一票で世の中変わるわけないと思うかもしれないし、
ダンディもそう思っていたけど、
いかなきゃはじまらない。

投票率８０％あれば相当世の中変わるはず。


今回はボーダレスの話を書こうと思ったが、
熱くなって政治の話に終始してしまった。

どうもこんにちは！
ELYです！！

ブログを書いてない間、私が住んでいる稲荷台シェアハウスには大きな変化がありました。
ボーダレス東京で４年半住んでいたもっくんがアメリカに行き、
４人暮らしの時期はすごく寂しかったです。
もちろん今ももっくんとウンキョンが恋しくなります！！
なので、たまにスカイプで一緒に飲み会をしたりもしています。＾−＾

もっくんは大学入学する前から会って、
卒業まで見届けたので、少しお母さん気分になりました（笑）
しかし、普段はもっくんの方がお兄さんのようなので、いつも私の方から頼りにしていましたね。
ウンキョンが韓国に帰る時にはすぐ会えるのにも関わらず泣いてしまったのに、
もっくんの時はなぜか泣きませんでした。多分その場に他の人もいたから強がったんですかね。
ここにもっくんスペシャルのブログを書くつもりでしたが、もう一ヶ月も経ちましたね。

そして、今月の８日にもっくん部屋に新しい人が入居しました。
明るくて歌も上手な韓国人の男の子です。これで稲荷台ハウスも全員揃うことができました！
稲荷台ハウスの明治から江戸時代に変わった感じですね〜なんとなく・・・

ボーダレスのHPに最近変わったことがありますが、気づいた人居ますか？

そうです！！これこれ！！
ハウス紹介の動画です！！前からやろうと思っていたのですが、やっとスタートを切りました。
素人なので作りは下手ですが、愛情たっぷり〜！！

おかんの三女、みーちゃんがモデルになってハウス紹介をしてくれてます！！
たまにいろんなハウスにあるキャラクターが登場しますので、まだ観てない人は観てみてちょ〜！













そして、今は十条ハウスと赤羽ハウスを作っています！！
今回登場するキャラクターはキノコ夫婦！！

まだ名前つけてないので、なんて呼ぼうか考え中です〜＾−＾
今後のシェアハウス・ゲストハウス紹介ムービーもお楽しみに！！

明日はBBQパーティーですね！！
参加希望者がすでに５０人を超えていて、スタッフやおかんの家族も含めたら６０人近くなりそうですね！！
すでに料理上手なおかんがタンドリーチキンや焼き豚、ドライカレー、いか燻製、野菜のマリネ、
マカロニサラダなどを作っておいたそうです！！


では、また明日みんなでボーダレスの輪を広げよう！！

Fun nights in Ikebukuro shared house!

Hi,there!It's Yuka!

It's getting cooler but still it's humid in Tokyo.
The weather is getting weird,isn't it?
All of sudden it started raining and it's not shower, torrential rain pounded
in a big area in Japan especially in the west of the country and near the mountains.
Even in Tokyo when I was driving the strong rain hit on a windscreen of the car.

The rain and other disaster was caused by the Typhoon.
Now I believe Japanese are strong because of many kinds of natural disaster.

Well,it's not what I wanted to talk here.
The parties in Ikebukuro is the thing what I would like to talk.

More than a week ago,I was talking with a guy who was living in Otsuka apartment for only a short time and he said he was enjoying the life there but Otsuka apartment is not a share house so not really you can communicate with other people in Borderless if you don't go to a party held every month by us and I just came up with the idea going to Ikebukuro share house because it's close to his place,only 5 min walk to between the houses.
Then I talked to Senchi who is living in the Ikebukuro share house since the house opened.He said it's a good idea! Then I and the guy went to visit the house.




The sharemates in Ikebukuro welcomed us with a soap bubble!



After Haneji tried to make a big bubble,Josefin tried it and she was good at it.:)

We had a nice chat with yummy Korean sushi and kimuchi bought by the guy from Otsuka who is cooking Korean food

A couple of Josefin's friends came over and we went out for Hanabi(fireworks).
Risa joined us and we were having fun at night with beautiful sparkler





It was so fun and good to know each other.

Two days later,I went to Ikebukuro share house again with my sharemate,Simon
to join with Senchi and a British couple.
What Senchi was telling me about the couple was he met them at a stadium in Fukuoka and watching a baseball game and he just talked to them saying 'Hi or hello!' and knew each other from then.It makes me laugh thinking about his personality!

Then Senchi and the couple contacted on Facebook and could meet in Tokyo again!
And I was invitied there.
It's the story why I was in Ikebukuro again.:)

The couple are so nice people and they could speak little Japanese,actually about the guy,he can speak well and he goes,he studied by himself

We played a video game and had Takoyaki(Octopus ball).



Look,they were so serious!


I spend nice time in Ikebukuro twice in a week!
How about dropping by to other share house sometimes?
